AIX L3 ADMINISTRATOR
The client is an IT company They require
AIX L3 Administrator
BE / Diploma 5 + Years of Relevant Experience
Location :Pune
Immediate (within 7-10 days)
8 L p.a
KEY RESULT AREAS ( Activities scheduled in the project)
Support for the Unix environment during the respective business hour and provide on call support if required during night and weekends
Expert & hands-on knowledge of various IBM P-series hardware
Expert & hands-on knowledge on trouble shooting AIX 4/5.X OS
Expert & hands-on knowledge of HACMP clustering, troubleshooting HACMP clustering
Very good understanding of capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning.
Exposure to server hardening
Expert knowledge on Package install, patch management, server builds, Server upgrades, License management
Expert knowledge in LVM, LPAR, VPAR
Expert knowledge on AIX NIM for unattended server install
Hands on knowledge on NFS/JFS/JFS2
Good exposure to SMIT,TCB (Trusted computing base), workload manager, RMC (Resource monitoring and control)
Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.)
Good exposure to AIX network administration ( DNS,NIS,LDAP)
Configures complex software implementations for initial functionality with occasionally configuration for advanced features.
Excellent communication skills
Skills:
Very Strong troubleshooting skills in AIX 5L,LPAR, HACMP clustering, filesystems,Excellent leadership/client interfacing skills
Excellent verbal and written Communication Skills
Flexibility, 24*7 working environment
