Consultant in Socio-economic Development
As part of the continued development of our international and domestic consultancy operations, GDSI Limited is seeking a Consultant in Socio-economic Development.
This full-time position involves substantial overseas travel. The base of operation of GDSI Limited is Galway, Ireland.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Requirements
|
The successful applicant will have professional qualifications in economics, geography, sociology, public administration or related disciplines to post-graduate level and will have at least 5 years international consultancy or research experience in one or more of the following areas: - regional and rural development
- social policy
- public administration
- enterprise (SME) development
- human resource development
The successful candidate should have excellent writing and communication skills, ability to set and maintain standards in written materials/ reports, project preparation and management. Knowledge of EC/ WB/ ADB/ DFID project procedures will be an advantage. |
