Our client is the leading online booking service for luxury and character hotels with main regional offices in Barcelona, Miami, Hong Kong.

Position Summary

The Chief Technology Officer reports to the CEO and is a member of the Company’s executive team. The CTO is the company top technology executive, playing an integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development, rapid growth.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities

•Define, present and execute the Company technology strategy
•Ensure quality of technology developments & documentations as well as compliance to company functional requirements and agreed processes (time and budget).
•Supervises sub contracted production activity (IT Hosting) and is responsible for service levels
•Contributes to overall company strategic direction through his role in the management team
•Recruit, train, motivate and manage the technology development team, 9 persons based in Marrakech. Headcount should double within the next months.
•Leads the upgrade of the existing PHP/Mysql platform to support the rapid company growth (1 to 10 million visitors monthly within 2 years)
•Leads technology partnerships, and external IT relationships: hosted services, telecom (VOIP), CRM software, LAN, third parties interfaces.

Requirements
Requirements

•7+ years experience with a minimum of 2 years in an e-commerce company with similar responsibilities and an international exposure
•Software development and methodology skills in PHP/MySQL & Java languages.
•Management experience of teams of 10+ people
•Sound knowledge and understanding of the online technology stake.
•Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
•Project and program management planning and organization skills.
•Personal leadership through example.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, high energy, and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment
•Fluent English, with French or Spanish an advantage.
