Systems Analyst
|
Designs new or modifies existing systems to support clients/projects needs. Maintains daily scheduled computer applications and database maintenance and queries.

Responsibilities
|
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+Reviews and analyzes systems specifications to determine whether all required elements have been included. Works with user departments to resolve specific problems or make changes in programs. This includes gathering information about report or program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements.
+Analyzes, defines and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
+Uses programming languages to code computer instructions from the systems documentation or project outlines. Required languages: SQL, VisualBasic, C#, XML and PHP. Environments are in: MS Platform .Net and/or LAMP.
+Tests and debugs computer programs.
+Writes and maintains documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
+Monitors performance of programs after implementation.
+Responsible for answering and resolving after-hours on-call helpdesk duty when scheduled. This requires internet access and a home computer to work from home via a network connection.
+Must have STRONG analytical skills; be detail oriented; diligent, responsible,team-oriented and able to meet responsibilities in timely fashion including willingness to work to meet deadlines or assist other team members with projects. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 to 6PM.
+Must be open for self-advancement and must be willing to work in a team environment. |
