Overview
Drivers deliver manufactured automotive products in 53' dry-van to the Northeast region, Ohio and Indiana. Deliveries are "no-touch" with occasional loading on pickups. Drivers are responsible for piece counts and noting damage or discrepancies. Drivers average 2500 - 3000 miles per week and are paid hub miles. 80% of routes are out 1-3 days. 20% of routes are out 4-5 days. Drivers return home most Fridays and are dispatched again on Sundays.
Compensation
$.39 per mile
$.075 per mile of pay rate paid as a non-taxable expense reimbursement
Average $1100 to $1300 per week or $56,000 to 68,000 per year
Stop pay
$2000 signing bonus
$500 safety bonus
