Learning Management System Administrator
|
The Learning Management System Administrator is a member of the Shared Service Organization team, reporting directly to the Sr. Training Manager, VAR Business Unit. This position is primarily responsible for: providing first level technical, administrative and coordination support to VAR external dealers.

Responsibilities
|
• Creates new online and instructor-led courses in the LMS
n Announces new classes and course availability
n Tests online course links across IT-supported platforms
n Course and Logistics management and support for Class offerings
• Manage activities relating to the administration of a Learning Management system including:
n University registrar
n Administrator training
n Help desk support
n Update and maintain LMS database
n Publishing, testing, and maintaining content, session, and course catalogue structure
n Assigning security through the use of access rights, user groups, and roles
n Post learning content/objects to catalogue
n Manage course rosters as required to support batch registration, or exception registration of participants onto courses.
• Generates Reports in SunPower University
n Creates standard and custom reports
• Supports course sunset process
• Perform learning management system maintenance/data integrity activities including system audits, annual system data cleanups, manual user profile/learning history updates, and content maintenance activities. |
Requirements
|
1. BS/BA in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or related,
2. Strong background in HTML and authoring software
3. Customer support or service skills, computer skills
4. 1+ years of business experience in technology-based training delivery, customer service, fast paced, team environment.
5. Required skill(s):
• Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle relational database administration experience required
• Experience with Crystal Reports or other reporting software preferred
• Enterprise software application management experience preferred
• Understanding of the Microsoft OS and Office Applications:
i. XP Operating System Basic
ii. Word, Excel, & PowerPoint †Intermediate
iii. Outlook – Intermediate
iv. Excellent understanding of Internet Explorer (NetScape & Mozilla)
6. Preferred skill(s):
• HTML, Javascript, XML, FTP
• Prior experience with Plateau Learning Management System is a plus
• Education/experience in training and adult learning desired |

12. Quick learner, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in fast-paced environment
13. Willingness to learn new technologies.
14. Required language(s): English
15. Applicants must be willing to work in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
16. Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
17. Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent. |
