An entrepreneurial team from the US, who has developed successful startups in the past,seeks an experienced Corporate Lawyer in the Philippines to join its newly formed team.
Ideally, the candidate will work part-time to start, then will have the opportunity to work full-time as the company forms a new Philippines-based team in 4-6 months
You must get excited about the opportunity to do the following:
* Work alongside an experienced CEO and executive team to build a global internet company that will dramatically change the way millions of people and businesses transact
* Develop and draft legal contracts
* Ensure the legality of commercial transactions across international boarders
* Advise a growing international internet company on its legal rights and duties
* Advise on Philippine business legal matters & outsourcing matters
* Be the inhouse counsel for startup company
* Receive equity ownership (options or stock shares) along with a competitive salary and benefits.
Basic Qualifications:
* Law degree
* 5+ years of corporate law experience
* Superior research and writing skills
* Experience in legal matters pertaining to outsourcing
* Experience with US based companies
* Ability to interview via Skype, Tokbox, or equivalent
