Our client renovates and modernizes facilities, process systems and utility projects for commercial, industrial and institutional clients including government agencies. The company offers energy modeling and designing, construction as well as commissioning of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning) and lighting systems. Founded in 1976, they operate nationwide, serving clients that include the US Armed Forces, the US Energy and Justice Departments, schools, corporations and government bodies.

Responsibilities

1) Lead administration and execution of commissioning plan 2) Provide key support to start-up program in specialty disciplines to enable the effective execution of systems commissioning/acceptance 3) Develop commissioning strategies and coordinate site personnel towards implementation of all contract deliverables 4) Identify manpower requirements at key phases and submit recommendation for mobilization 5) Provide commissioning input for system specific safety and operability reviews 6) Develop interface/transition to steady state operations of systems, process and people

Requirements

1) BS/MS in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or equivalent Cx experience 2) Technical expertise and field background in commissioning and/or equipment testing as well as troubleshooting 3) Experience in energy engineering and energy conservation for mechanical building systems (HVAC, plumbing and temperature controls) 4) Experience in supervising or overseeing staff and junior Cx engineers and technicians 5) Experience in managing Cx and RetroCx projects 6) Knowledge of field assessments, data trending, energy simulation modeling and energy savings analysis (preferred for Cx positions and mandatory for Retro-Cx positions) Applicants are encouraged to apply directly by going to: http://www.fepsearchgroup.com/manufacturing-jobs/manufacturing-job-08240.html
