Requirements
|
Minimum Requirements:
5 Years -Experience in SyBase and Oracle databases.
5 Years -Experience with structured query language (SQL) including writing stored procedures, functions and triggers
5 Years -Knowledge of database development industry best practices and standards (ANSI)
3+ Years -Knowledge of Rational ClearCase & ClearQuest OR similar version control software such as Microsoft Visual Source Safe
2 Years -Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
1 Years -Knowledge of Incremental Development Methodologies
Strong-Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and negotiating ability.
· Strong-Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions .
· Strong-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Strong-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, users, technical staff and management.
· Strong-Ability to manage work time efficiently to complete multiple assignments within designated time periods.
Preferences:
-Experience working with DSHS or other Government agencies
-Experience with MS SQL 2000 and greater
-Experience in Embarcadero DB Artisan and ER Studio
-Proven technical documentation skills in IT application development
-Experience with development in accordance with Section 508 EIR Accessibility requirements is a plus. Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Amendments of 1998 (signed 8/7/1998 by President Clinton) requires that when we develop, procure, maintain, or use electronic and information technology that it is accessible to employees and members of the public with disabilities to the extent that it does not pose an "undue burden" on us to meet that.
