Process Engineer

1 year contract. Salary will comensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
|
| • Design works for Process Description, Process Flow Diagram, Functional
Description, Flow Sheet, Mass & Energy Balance, Hydraulic Calculation, P&I Diagram,
Fluid List, Sizing of Safety Relief Devices, Instrument Criteria Sheet, MSDS, Area
Classification, HAZOP Study and other detail engineering works.
• Choose the best solution in terms of technical and economical aspects in
designing systems and in selecting equipment.
• Assist in design of equipment general arrangement layout and review / comment
of plant model.
• Ensure the engineering activities are carried out within the established time
schedule and the budget of manhours allocated.
• Discuss with Project Manager and Client on technical problems which might arise
during the design development.
• Review the Preferable Vendor List submitted by procurement discipline.
• Prepare and review the technical specifications and data sheets, request-of-bid and
technical bid evaluation.
• Review and comment of vendor’s equipment drawings.
• Assist the other project personnel, as and when required.
• Ensure adequate flow of design information with the other disciplines. Review the
completeness of the incoming information and data and notify the project team of all
deficiencies.
• Keep the discipline lead informed on the progress status. Prepare monthly
progress report if required.
• Keeping design calculation sets, review of drawings before the issue for
construction and the like properly filed.
• Participate in-field commissioning and start up concerning operational issues |
