Senior Integration Test Analyst
Estimated Term: 1+ Years
Location: Taylor, Texas
Primary responsibility is to provide leadership and coordination duties (the “Services”) for specific integration areas in support of the ERCOT Nodal Integration Testing Team. Coordinate, track, and report on the day to day completion of integrated test readiness and delivery. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work with Systems Integration Management to understand the Nodal Integrated Release schedule and testing approach
• Support the Systems Integration? effort with ongoing Integrated Release Planning, Coordination and Delivery Management activities
• Provide the Coordination and Oversight for the? software migration to the Integrated Test environment, Test Planning and Preparation, Test Environment Readiness, Test Execution and Defect Management for a pipeline of Nodal Applications and Integration Interfaces
Support?
• Integration Testing and provide analysis and understanding of Integration Interfaces, Tracking of Software Deliveries, and the Organization of Functional Requirements to support Test Planning and Test Case Development
• Collaborate with other Nodal Project Teams and ERCOT Operations Teams to ensure alignment of software deliveries for Integration Testing
• Assist with the? development and management of the Integration Test Status Dashboard for weekly reporting of Test Status against Plan
• Work with the ERCOT Release? Management team to manage Integration Release timelines and communicate release issues back to the team for process improvement opportunity
• Understand,? document, and communicate Integration Test Environment setup, configurations, and issues
• Support the creation of Test Summary Reports and the Review and? Approval Process to exist defined Test Cycles
• Support the coordination of? System SMEs to create Integration Test and End to End (Business Process) Test Cases
• Coordinate with the Integration Data Team to ensure the integrated? data set is completed and ready to test specific integrated release test cycles
Minimum Qualifications:
• Seven plus years experience in Software? Testing and Analysis with a preference toward large scale Integration Testing efforts
• Strong understanding of testing methodology and practices?
• Previous experience working on a large integration effort with a number of different systems and integration points
• Knowledge of Software Release? Management practices
• Understanding and experience with Integration? Middleware in a Web Services / SOA environment
• Understanding of? Application Architecture and Supporting Infrastructure to support coordination of test environment build out
• Previous experience working in a technical? environment with Oracle, PL SQL, Java, J2EE, XML, SOAP, WSDL
Highly Desired Qualifications:
• Five plus years experience in Utility industry? with a strong preference for ISO/RTO or Market Participant experience in the deregulated market place
• Hands on product experience, testing experience,? or coordination and delivery experience with Energy Market Applications, Energy Management Systems, Energy Legacy Applications that support the Bid to Bill Process |
