Electrical Designer

Our client is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering services firm, specializing in the oil and gas industry.
|
Responsibilities
|
1) Coordinate design requirements with Project Team
2) Review P&IDs of electrical drawings and specifications
3) Maintain knowledge of electrical construction contract documents and electrical RFQs
4) Evaluate quotations and create purchase order
5) Make general requisitions for electrical equipment
6) Review and mark-up package/skid drawings
7) Provide wiring details and support to electrical contractors as well as field construction support
8) Generate electrical drawing package through approval, bid and construction stages
9) Create single line diagrams as well as junction box and building layouts |
Requirements
|
1) BS in Electrical Engineering or a related field
2) Minimum 6 years of experience in consulting engineering (oil and gas preferred)
3) Excellent interpersonal skills
