Chief Intellectual Property Counsel - In House
Chief Intellectual Property Counsel Responsibilities: The candidate will serve as a key member of IV's senior management team and report directly to the General Counsel. Working closely with business managers and senior executives, will lead a team of senior patent licensing attorneys and be involved in all aspects of developing and implementing business and legal strategy, team leadership and people development, negotiating licenses and settlements, selection and management of outside counsel, and litigation. Provide legal, business and strategic advice related to all aspects of IV's intellectual property portfolio. Develop and implement strategies to enhance IV's technological and competitive position. Guide overall portfolio development for future licensing and enforcement. Partner with licensing executives to develop licensing strategy within and across vertical business units.
