Project Purchasing Specialist
-Canvasses prices of needed materials, supplies, equipment, and services
-Prepares and issues purchase orders to awarded suppliers
-Ensures prompt delivery of itmes meeting specification given
-Sources, evaluates and recommends reliable suppliersldealers of quality goods and services
-Maintains files and records of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, materials requirement plan and other procurement records
-Reviews and reports purchasing and supplier performance

Requirements

Skills:
-Can perform the purchasing process: RFQ preparation, canvassing, bid analysis and evaluation, routine negotiation, and award communication
-Can perform supplier accreditation
-Can prepare routine reports on purchase and savings
-Can understand basic legal and commercial provisions in contracts
-Can keep files and records properly
-Can communicate effectively in verbal and written communicationusing the English Language
-Can preform the basic functions in MS Office: Word, Exel, and Powerpoint
Experience:
-At least 2 years experience in the purchasing function
Education:-Bachelor's Degree in any field, preferably in Commerce, Accountancy or Engineering |
