Associate will be required to respond to customer inquires, both written and verbal .

Responsibilities
-Work in an Inbound Call Center environment to assist customers in resolving charged off debt during specified times. -Review correspondence making appropriate determinations of responses and account updates Associate will be responsible for: Validation of Debt research, Account status updates, customer information changes, detailed responses to customers including statement, check and disclosure copies, adding Power of Attorney details, submitting credit balance refunds, completing close account requests, processing manual mail requests, and assisting other clerical roles in the Recoveries Department.

Requirements
2.8 GHZ Processor (minimum of a Pentium 4 processor or equivalent processor running at a clock speed of 2.8 GHz) 1 GB of RAM for Windows XP users 2 GB of RAM for Vista users 12 GB of Available Hard drive space Additional equipment requirements include: Monitor - 17" Flat Panel Display recommended (capable of 1280 x 1024), 15" min. At least one free USB port on PC USB Headset with built in digital signal processor (recommended model types: Plantronics .Audio 750, Plantronics .Audio 650, Plantronics .Audio 625) available locally, or through the Dell store on this site Wired router - such as those sold under the brand names Belkin, Linksys Computer Software requirements: Windows XP or Vista Operating system Internet Explorer 6.0 SP2 or better Minimum Windows Media Player 9.0* Adobe Flash player plug-in version 9.0 or above installed* Minimum Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0*

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent Excellent Quality Adaptable to change. Excellent Organizational Skills Proficient in Word and Excel. Knowledge of charged off accounts. Bilingual Proficient in Spanish and English Ability to read and comprehend customer inquiries and respond to customer with clear and accurate information and adhering to a turn around time. Ability to use provided resources to research appropriate procedures and Capital One policies. Ability to create a free formed response to customer using proper grammar and punctuation. Ability to determine what information can be provided to customer and have knowledge to route e-mail or mail to appropriate departments Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Strong problem solving and negotiation skills. Flexible to business need with OT, increase of goals Ability to work in different queues as the business needs
