TITLE: Service Manager Dubai and Middle East SUMMARY: Manage Customer Support Service Department in the UAE. Cameras - Responsible for handling service activities including repairs and maintenance, customer support, sales of spare parts and upgrades, participate in service campaigns, manage spare parts including service level and pricing. General technical and application support to the sales organization, distributors, integrators and dealers as wells as towards customers. RESPONSIBILITIES: Service of specialist cameras in Middle East DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Manage a service center in the country, respond to and act as a consultant to customers, distributor -s questions concerning service and technical support. 2.Assure that the center is meeting its targets for revenue, expenses and profitability.. 3.Service center duties include -Identify service sales possibilities and actively sell service. -Promote service and after market maintenance contracts. -Provides repair cost estimates. -Handle service quotations to customers and Sales Engineers. -Issue invoices to customers -Suggest and perform repairs. Suggest and handle upgrades of hardware and software. Calibration and calibration control. -Handle logistical issues related to international service (shipments, import/export and license). Understand the procedure of shipping -Overall 80% service works, 20% sales 4.Continuously maintain a good knowledge about the products and software included in the supplies made by the division, including launch of new products. Assure that the Service departments provide technical support to the sales organizations and support in road shows and fairs. 5.On request handle installations and provide on -site service. If needed support complex customers installations through project management. 6.Suggest improvements concerning the service organization. 7.Report on a weekly basis. Report on a monthly basis the status of Service work. (Turnaround time and Service Revenue/Profitability) 8.Report on a weekly basis actual bookings and forecasts 9.Determines equipment and tool requirements for purchase 10.Submit information on a daily basis to the company -s database and CRM system. 11.Provide a performance and strategy report as well as a budget on an annual basis. 12.Work with Product Development and Marketing to match product offerings and support to the customer -s needs. Analyze customer requirements and applications and recommend appropriate support offerings. 13.Carry out in a timely fashion, specific related projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor. 14.The job will not require extensive travelling, most repairs will be done from a different location.ARABIC SPEAKER IS PREFERRED IDEALLY LOCATED IN THE UAE AND BE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 30 -40. EDUCATION: engineering degree, knowledge of simple forecasting, budgeting EXPERIENCE: 5+ years as service engineer in electronics, preferably within cameras area PERSONAL: highly self -motivated, structured, proactiveJobs in Dubai
