Senior Field Applications Scientist

Responsibilities

Providing technical leadership in Microbiology and pharmaceutical manufacturing disciplines to company and customer personnel in order for them to understand the range of applications for the IMD (Instantaneous Microbial Detection) system. Assist customers with their decisions involving purchasing, installation and validation of IMD systems. Design curriculum and conduct customer education/training session on applications of the IMD systems. Assist in the planning and implementation of company in house IMD product testing and validation. Participate in the investigation and analysis of next generation IMD technologies and applications. Act as the company agent with regulatory agencies on matters involving IMD products. Develop protocols and analyze customer test plan data in order to produce scientific reports and publications to be used for presentations to trade groups and associations. Technical presentations at company seminars. Some travel required.

Requirements

PhD degree in Molecular Biology, Microbiology or closely related field. Knowledge of QA documentations, FDA regulations and Field Applications of technical systems a minimum of 6 years experience working within Pharmaceutical manufacturing. May telecommute from unanticipated worksites.
