Hygiene Specialist

Responsibilities

• Ensure industrial hygiene evaluation programs (Physical, Chemical and Ergonomics risks) for workplace monitoring are executed.
• Ensure timely revision of contractor Industrial Hygiene Plans and Procedures.
• Provide On-site technical support for project activities related to industrial Hygiene practices.
• Participate in EHS Evaluations as required to monitor Industrial Hygiene performance in Projects.
• Ensure project Industrial Hygiene awareness programs based upon potential trends are executed.
• Ensure workshops based on major Industrial Hygiene issues are executed.
• Ensure Industrial Hygiene training programs for internal and external are executed.
• Ensure sanitation programs are established.
• Ensure physical chemical and biological risk conditions are evaluated

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in EHS policies, procedures and best practices.
• Ability to demonstrate, identify major federal EHS regulations and industrial standards.
• Ability to demonstrate work under stress to meet schedule deadlines.

Qualifications

• BSc or Degree in Engineering
• Engineering profession with minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas/petrochemical industry and background in the field of Industrial Hygiene.
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Must be computer literate
• Willing to Travel
• NEBOSH certification an Advantage
