Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS Procedures and ITB, PEI requirements are updated in consistance with SHEMS and international EHS standards.
• Ensure Timely approval of contractor EHS Manuals, Plans and Procedures.
• Ensure timely approval of EHS Risk assessment and method of statements.
• Ensure approval JSA and safety action plan for critical activities.
• Provide onsite EHS support for critical project activities.
• Develop and administer project EHS awareness programs based upon potential incident trends.
• Ensure EHS best practices are captured and effectively communicated to projects.
• Establish EHS Promotional programs “internal and external”.
• Establish EHS campaigns
• Organize EHS workshops based on major EHS issues
• Establish EHS training programs for internal and external
• Ensure updates of the emergency action plans at E&PM facilities.
• Ensure core and project EHS Staff are screened effectively.
• Ensure physical and biological conditions are evaluated in all gate phases.
• Ensure sanitation programs are established

Requirements

• Knowledgeable in EHS policies, procedures and best practices.
• Ability to demonstrate, identify major federal EHS regulations and industrial standards.
• Ability to demonstrate work under stress to meet schedule deadlines.

Qualifications

• BSc or Degree in Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of engineering profession and management experience
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Must be computer literate.
• Willing to Travel
• NEBOSH Certification an Advantage
