JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: General Service Manager – CMD
Reports to: Director, CMD.
Primary purpose of the job:
• Overall responsibility for service Policies & Procedures, and the development and implementation of company-wide service plans.
• Plan for the profitable operation and growth of the CMD Service Operations.
• Work with the Regions, for the future development of Service facilities, Assets and Human Resources.

? ? Technical Manager and his department
? ? CSD Manager and his department
? ? SOS Lab Manager and his department
? ? Project Coordinator and his Projects
? ? GSM will also be a representative on the EHS and TAAQA Committee, where it relates to Service matters
? ? Quality Control Center and staff |
Requirements
|
Support other CMD activities related to Service (SOS Lab, CSD (Central Stores Depot) Operations, Quality Control Center & Special Projects).
• Develop and enhance Service DCAL by working with the Regions.
• Manage CSD operations on Service & Quality Control |
Qualifications
|
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 10 years as Senior Cat Service Manager with a CAT Dealer, preferably with overseas experience.
General Profile:
• Computer literacy, knowledge of CAT Service Management Systems.
• Strong Leadership skills with the ability to motivate others to achieve their objectives as individuals and part of a successful multi–national team. |
