Position Title: Business Applications Development Engineer
Type: Contract / Consulting
Duration: 4 months minimum
Location: Headquarters at Makati City, Philippines.
Possible assignment at Client’s office within or outside of the Philippines.

Project: Web-based Business Applications Development
Department: BizApp Development

Responsibilities
(1) Given Basic Designs, the engineer must be able to Develop Detailed
Designs, Create Test Plans, Program Source Codes, Execute Testing, and
Fix Problem Reports.

(2) Report actual work items status based on plan to immediate sub-leader
or project leader.

Requirements
Soft Skill Qualification:

Clearly (articulately) express own work status and plans through verbal or
written reports.


Responsibilities / Deliverables:
Web-based Business Applications Development.

Technical Qualification: (Mandatory)

Language: J2SE/J2EE
Framework: Struts or equivalent like Spring/Hibernate, Liferay
SQL: Oracle, DB2, MSSql, Postgre, or equivalent
Tools: Eclipse, CVS, or equivalent like Redmine, Mercurial
App Server: Tomcat or equivalent like Glassfish, JBoss, Jetty, Websphere
SDLC: Detailed Design, Test Planning, Coding, Testing, Debugging

NICE TO HAVE: Maven, Ruby on Rails, Jruby, C#, VB, .NET

Qualifications
At least 3 Years Development experience as Programmer or Subleader.
Team Player. High regard for Product Quality and Customer Satisfaction.
Other Requirements Multi-national Language Skill is an advantage.
