Instrumentation and Control Engineer – Oil and Gas

Responsibilities
|
1. Support efforts to ensure all relevant activities are conducted with due consideration of HSE issues and in accordance with agreed procedures.
2. Plant focal point for Yokogawa CS3000 DCS and Prosafe safeguarding systems installed
3. Responsible for the implementation of approved Control system and DCS screen reconfigurations.
4. To provide advice to operations and instrument/electrical engineer with regard to performance of the control and safeguarding systems, their loading and future maintenance and replacements needs
5. During shutdowns and major unplanned events, provide technical support and actively participate in teams assembled to undertake these activities. |
Qualifications
|
1. Degree certificate in electrical, electronic, instrumentation& control or computer.
2. Sound knowledge of Instrumentation and Control as utilised in the Oil & Gas and/or Petro- Chemical Industry.
3. Sound knowledge of process control systems (Yokogawa CS3000) and safeguarding system (Prosafe)
4. Good communication skills
5. Ability to work within a team environment.
6. The ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to the requirements of the job. |
