The Doka Group is one of the world’s leading companies for developing and distributing modern system formwork technology. They are currently seeking to appoint a fabrication supervisor at their Johannesburg branch.

Responsibilities

•Planning of assembly tasks to achieve maximum efficiencies •Organising the available resources to meet targets and deadlines •Train fabrication staff on Doka standards and work procedures and the use and maintenance of equipment •Ensure that the fabrication teams meet their daily production quotas •Attend to ad hoc HR matters (time and attendance, discipline & performance) •Comply with PPE and safe work practices and maintain an organised work area •Assemble panels when required

Requirements

•Five years carpentry experience within formwork or construction preferred •Supervisory experience would be beneficial •Expert ability in the utilisation of electrical and non-electrical carpentry equipment •Advanced proficiency in reading and assembling from technical drawings •Proficient in standard computer and e-mail applications

Qualifications

•Senior Certificate or equivalent •Vocational training preferred
