Power Electronics Development Engineer
? To design and develop analogue/digital/power electronic circuits and systems for power electronics and industrial automation projects
? To implement designs, personally, and through other team members, which meet agreed functional design requirements
? To implement designs which conform to international EMC and Safety requirements and regulations.
? Selection and evaluation of power devices including IGBT’s, MOSFET’s, thyristors etc.
? Design work will include but not be limited to gate drive and protection circuits, auxiliary power supplies for control electronics including transformer and other power magnetics design.
? Implement and verify designs which meet the agreed functional design specifications, whilst satisfying agreed necessary conditions for quality, reliability, manufacturability and cost
? Document designs for record keeping and peer review
? Technical responsibility for sections of projects will grow dependent upon experience.
? Drive an assigned project area through from initial concept to production
? Interface with external suppliers.
? Working to agreed timescales & project plans.
? Perform other related duties.

Requirements

• Required language(s): English/Malay
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience of and enthusiasm for Power Electronic circuits, and a strong interest in the control of electrical motors. |
Qualifications
|
| Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or Electronic Engineering or closely related derivative course. |
