SAFETY OFFICERS

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
o Implements basic knowledge of procedures and applications of safety, health, fire and life safety standards;
o Develops, conducts, promotes safety activities / awareness for workplace;
o Identifies and assesses construction hazards;
o Develops, formulate, recommends techniques to control construction safety exposure;
o Prepares monthly reports, statistics and analysis;
o Assists government agencies in conducting safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any related programs;
o Conducts safety audits of other projects assigned by the Safety Head.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Graduate of any 4-year course / Engineering graduate
• At least 5 years experience in construction industry as Safety Officer
• Preferably DOLE Accredited Safety Practitioner
• Have taken at least 1 seminar from SOPI or OSHC preferably on the following: Occupational Safety and Health, Loss Control Management, Construction Safety, Construction Safety Programming or related topics
• Computer literate
• Has good leadership & communication skills
• Applicants must be willing to be assigned in Construction Projects within and/or outside Metro Manila
