Responsibilities
|
1. Manage the implementation and formulation of HR strategies, plans, policies, procedures and practices to support the Company's vision and mission in a professional and cost effective manner.
2. Advise and support the operational human resources functions of the various business units including manpower planning, performance management, training and development, employee relation and industrial relation.
3. Provide expertise and managing any industrial related cases which may arise, including any domestic inquiry. Respond to and represent industrial issue within the context of the business strategy and company's objectives.
4. Promote and instil a performance driven culture across the organization. Participate in designing programs to develop positive employees relation and harmonious workplace
5. End to end recruitment process from job advertisement, sourcing, short-listing, interviewing to negotiating salary package and extending job offer.
6. HR advisory role to the line managers on HR policies and procedures.
7. Review cases reported to HR involving misconduct/employment issues
8. Liaise with respected Departments for further investigation
9. Draft Show Cause letters, Charge Letter, Punishment Letters etc.
10. Conduct primary investigations and prepare investigation report for Management’s evaluation
11. To act as Presenting Officer during the Domestic Inquiry
12. To investigate and escalate staff grievances to the appropriate channels
13. To provide counselling to employees on work related problem
14. Interprets policy and relevant legislation and recommends appropriate action to ensure compliance
15. As the representative of the Company in resolving industrial relations and labour disputes between the Company and employees at Industrial Relations Department and Labour Department
16. To promote employee wellbeing and happiness such as organisation and promotion of Company’s events, annual dinners, birthday parties, sports etc.
17. Ensure and incharge of employees’ statutory deductions are done accordingly such as EPF, SOCSO and PCB and payroll management.
18. Represent organisation at Human Resource Department related hearings and investigations. |
Requirements
|
1. At least 10 years as a HR Generalist and in all aspects of HR functions. Possess a Degree in Human Resources Management or any relevant field of studies.
2. Work in a culture that focuses on the attraction and retention of the best talent, developing and leveraging the most effective employee development.
3. Strong understanding and knowledge of Employment Act, Industrial Relation Act and others Statutory Acts or Regulations
4. Excellent communication and relationship management skills in facilitation, feedback, influencing and presentation skills.
5. Strong people management skills in coaching and mentoring, delegation and performance management.
6. Strong organization skills, Teamwork, and ability to prioritize work assignment and establish or meet work deadlines.
7. Required skill(s): MS Office, Powerpoint, Excel.
