Job Responsibilities and Requirements: We are looking for energetic, engaging and talented Teachers who have strong classroom & behavior Management skills. As a Charter school Teacher you are responsible to provide students with a first class learning experience that maximizes their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development, including the development of their ability to apply their intellect to solving problems and contribute to their communities as enlightened and responsible citizens. Teacher Required Education/Qualifications/Skills Bachelor Degree in Education or related discipline i.e. Social Science, English/Language Arts, Humanities, Math, Science). MUST have a minimum 2-3 years in a self contained classroom; 4 years preferred. MUST be Pennsylvania certified and deemed Highly Qualified by the Department of Education. MUST demonstrate competency in all areas of content responsibility and be computer literate. MUST have experience working with youth in an urban/inner city. Preferred experience in Music, Vocal, Drama, Instrumental and/or Fine Arts. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes enrollment incentives.
