Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Develops, facilitates, manages, and administers training and development activities by establishing a needs assessment to determine the requirements throughout Rochester General Medical Group departments. Works with internal and external resources to establish and develop an learning platform. Implements and/or facilitates programs to meet the identified learning needs of our customers by working with Newark Wayne Community Hospital leadership. Utilizes internal and external Marketing systems to inform Staff of training programs. Identifies and validates the learning needs of customers by utilizing needs assessments, CQI results, performance improvement results, customer surveys, and course evaluation results Develops educational programs and curriculums that promote quality health care, employee or patient growth, and personal wellness. Programs will be based on current literature findings. Materials will be developed using current research in the field. Implements and/or facilitates programs to meet the identified learning needs of our customers. Provides in-depth orientation, in-service and continuing education for Staff or patients. Evaluates and documents the effectiveness of educational offerings by developing, monitoring and assessing competencies. Implements changes based on need. Analyze cost to maximize the efficient utilization of resources. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree required in Nursing, health education, or instructional development or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Masters Degree preferred. Two to four years prior training/teaching experience and leadership experience. Strong communication and computer skills. Required Licensure/Certification Skills.
