Account Representative II
Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Account Representative II is responsible for effective Accounts Receivable Management of outstanding Claims. This position routinely researches and effectively performs follow-up on unpaid Claims, denials and tracers. The Account Representative II works with Insurance companies to resolve patient billing/carrier issues to ensure expected payment. Analyze and resolve credit balance accounts. A. Education 1. High School Diploma or GED B. Experience 1. 1 year experience in a business Office setting performing Clerical work required 2. 1 year experience in Medical Claims billing, denials and appeals and/or Customer Service Call Center helpful C. Skills: Must be able to perform basic Clerical duties, including the ability to accurately and efficiently work with a filing system Must be able to prepare correspondence utilizing proper syntax, grammar and punctuation Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations Must be able to work in a Microsoft environment, including Outlook Must be able to operate General Office equipment, including a calculator, fax and copy machine, and a personal computer with internet use Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in Writing Able to work well in a team environment Able to maintain confidentiality Must be able to multi-task, produce quality work, meet productivity and work deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must have demonstrated Customer Service skills.
