Accountant
Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Opportunity is seeking a hands-on, self-motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team. This dynamic individual will perform basic accounting functions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. S/he will be based out of our Santa Monica, CA headquarters and will report to the company s Controller. General responsibilities include: AR, AP & GL modules Account Reconciliations Assisting with special projects and tasks as needed The Candidate Ideal candidates are looking to get in on the ground floor of an organization and will possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Required skills and abilities: BS degree in Accounting Minimum of 1 year General accounting experience (internship experience will be considered) Must be proficient in Excel Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to apply critical thinking skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment Compensation Package: Salary will be based on level of experience.
