Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Act as day to day accounting liaison between Corporate and majority owned and joint venture companies in Latin America; including monthly close, SOX Compliance and Account reconciliation review Understand Key business drivers of variances or trends for each country Supervise accounting for Houston G&A and associated reporting functions Supervision of the preparation and analytical review of responsibility center budget, forecast and actual vs. budget reporting Produce reports/schedules as needed by internal and external audits Provide analysis support to the DEI business units, Management and Staff Obtain understanding of Financial systems/reporting tools Establishment of effective working relationships within and across Latin America countries and corporate contacts Serve as a mentor and manage up to 3 accountants Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Undergraduate Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field with commensurate work experience Minimum of 4 years experience in a related role. Good understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and SEC Rules and Regulations Solid accounting, technical and analytical skills Ability to develop proficiency in data querying and reporting.
