Job Responsibilities and Requirements: Under General supervision, using judgement and discretion, this position is responsible for informing prospective undergraduate and graduate students regarding program, admissions and degree completion requirements, as well as enrolling students for the partner institution s graduate, undergraduate and certificate programs. This position performs student recruitment activities via telephone and face-to-face meetings with prospective students. The primary accountabilities below are intended to describe the General content of and requirements of this position and are not intended to be an exhaustive statement of duties. Incumbents may perform all or most of the primary accountabilities listed below. Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented in the incumbents performance objectives as outlined by the incumbents immediate Supervisor or Manager. 1. Provide prospective students with the highest level of Customer Service through effective phone, email and face-to-face communication. 2. Conduct individual and group presentations to disseminate approved program information appropriate to the specific IPD partner institution to potential students. This includes providing information to potential students with respect to program format, admissions, degree options, requirements, costs and providing information on partner institution policy. Ensures new students are oriented to the partner institution s policies and services prior to enrollment. 3. Uses professional knowledge and perspective to relate to potential students to establish professional rapport and add to the student experience. 4. Utilizes critical thinking and problem solving skills to address and resolve student issues and ensure a positive student experience. Addresses potential student concerns and seeks appropriate resolution to potential problems. 5. Assists the student by performing appropriate follow up and coordination with team members. This includes working with employees in a team environment and providing accurate student information and assistance to other team members in and/or outside of their functional area. 6. Work with previously enrolled students for matriculation to the next level program. This includes providing information on admissions, degree options and requirements as provided by the partner institution, and providing information on partner institution policy, practices and rules, requiring the use of judgment and discretion. 7. Assists students in making informed decisions by providing ethical, timely, accurate, and comprehensive enrollment options and program information. Act as a personal coach to help students select a degree, complete the enrollment process and make a smooth transition into the classroom. 8. Is proactive in identifying potential barriers within the student enrollment process and initiates steps resulting in resolution. 9. Balance tasks and activities to consistently follow the company standards for timely enrollment of students in scheduled classes. 10. Monitor and manage student database, student documents, and associated reports. 11. Plans and carries out educational outreach activities to aid in the enrollment of qualified students who are a fit for the partner institution programs. 12. Demonstrates personal and professional integrity as outlined in the Apollo Code of Business Ethics and consistently participates in scheduled enrollment and compliance training. 13. Performs other duties as assigned or apparent. Knowledge Skills & Abilities A bachelor's degree is required from a regionally accredited institution. Must possess a high knowledge of Higher Education market and Industry. Computer literate and able to learn proprietary software applications. Passionate belief in the power of education along with the desire to help adults achieve their academic, professional, and personal goals. Ability to motivate adults to take action. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Customer Service or advising experience in an educational environment entailing one on one interaction is highly preferred. Must possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to accurately convey information as described above. Must have an excellent command of professional presentation skills and be comfortable presenting to groups both large and small.
