Real Estate Paralegal
Paraprofessional The candidate will provide assistance to attorneys and clients in all aspects of Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions. Other responsibilities include preparing closing documents for Commercial and Residential Real Estate transactions; ordering and reviewing/analyzing UCC searches, Title Insurance commitments and surveys; obtaining municipal zoning codes; reviewing leases; coordinating due diligence; coordinating and attending closings; reconciling Bank statements; and preparing and filing 1099-S reports with the IRS.
The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or in a related field and 5+ years work experience as a Real Estate Paralegal. (Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree). Exceptional oral and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and in a team setting and excellent organizational and problem-solving skills are required. Proficiency in MS Office products is essential.
