Corporate Paralegal
Corporate Paralegal The candidate should have experience in incorporating Technology and life sciences companies; corporate records Management; stock option plan implementation and Administration; venture capital financings and conduct blue sky research. The candidate should have a four-year degree and/or a Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program. 3+ years of experience needed. Experience working in a large corporate setting or law firm preferred.
The Palo Alto office of this highly profitable, full-service firm has grown significantly in recent years and has worked on some of the most interesting and complex technology transactions in the world. The firm primarily represents high-tech, high-growth companies in four practices areas: Corporate, Litigation, Intellectual Property, and Tax. Despite the “required” 1800 minimum, some associates report that billable hour expectations are “huge.” Nevertheless, salaries are in line with other top Bay Area firms and, although a few associates fear the firm’s traditionally supportive culture has given way to growth and profits, most associates believe the firm is “truly a great place to work.”
