Be wary of promises to help get you a government job. If a test is required, the government usually conducts it. No employment service can guarantee that you’ll qualify for a government job or arrange to get you special treatment.

Financial institutions and real estate lending work are the fortes of this large national firm. With a definite eye toward growing this law firm to compete at the highest levels, especially representing high level lenders, this firm is particularly good for transactional lawyers. Not being one of the older firms in town, these lawyers have had the ability to grow the firm and shape the culture fairly recently. The result? A firm where associates are lagging behind on market raises (albeit not far behind) but where depending on the practice area, the firm is quite reasonable in terms of hours requirements. Even more exciting? Meet the reasonable expectations set for you by the partners here, and partnership won't be far behind.
