Job Responsibilities and Requirements: The Staff Accountant in this position participates in the month end close process, budget preparation, cost report preparation, audit work papers, productivity system Maintenance, property system Maintenance and special projects as assigned. II. Position Requirements: A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: CPA or MBA preferred B. Education: Bachelors degree in accounting or equivalent C. Experience: 3 years accounting experience, Healthcare experience preferred. D. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have effective verbal and written communication in order to communicate in a clear, concise manner. Demonstrate proficiency with computer systems and spreadsheets. Must be detail oriented and strong technical resource. III. Degree of Supervision Required: General guidance and direction by Supervisor and/or Director.
